A scenery caught my eye after a hike in North Wales. It sparked an idea  that even in the darkest times, you can find light. It was just after sunset, during a difficult period in my life, when I noticed sheep in the distance. They were shining almost like silver. I stopped in awe.

Later, I created this piece. It helped me through six months of art block in 2023. It was the first oil painting I made in the UK, without much equipment — not even an easel.

It is a reminder to look for light and strength.
